Honestly for the value I don't think it's worth it, you're overpaying quite a bit. Mostly as an all around computer for online work, Youtube, etc. Ended up with this, coming built from Cyberpower. Not enough system restores or Windows reinstalls can save it I fear. So I was looking to build a new PC for myself after like 7 years and this current one slowly dying on me. But maybe I'll tinker around first and update the motherboard BIOS and maybe reinstall Windows. but was wondering if anyone else had similar issues or how their Nvidia RMA experience went. Guess I will begin the RMA process later when I get off work. Nvidia's warranty lasts for 3 years, so my card is still valid. And last night I even got artifacts in game, with different artifacts appearing on the desktop after I alt-tabbed to it. I initially chalked it up to Destiny 2 just being really weird, but after reinstalling GPU drivers (using DDU) and even uninstalling the game and reinstalling it, I still have a high chance of framerate issues. Temps seemed ok (in low-mid 70s when I checked but unfortunately I was not actively monitoring it when playing the game). Out of nowhere, the framerate can tank at any time, even seconds after getting past the main menu. In recent months, Ive had numerous framerate issues when playing Destiny 2 and even straight up crashing. Been a long while since I posted in here, but does anyone have experience with RMA for Nvidia Founder's Edition cards? I fear my 3080 FE that I got around launch may be dying. ![]()
